The No Mosquitoes Biting Midge & Mosquito Barrier has been specially developed for people who want to treat mosquito and biting midge activity around their own outdoor areas.

It is a residual insecticide, meaning it continues working on treated surfaces after application rather than only controlling insects present at the time of spraying.

When applied correctly, the treatment has been shown to remain effective for up to 6 weeks, although environmental conditions may affect how long treatment remains effective.
The treatment works by coating outdoor surfaces where mosquitoes and biting midges commonly rest and harbour, particularly vegetation. When an insect lands on or comes into contact with a treated surface, it is exposed to the insecticide and is killed.

Unlike a repellent, the treatment does not rely on keeping mosquitoes away from an area. Mosquitoes and biting midges need to land on the treated surface for the product to take effect.
How Does It Work?

How Does It Work?
Simple Outdoor Application
The Biting Midge & Mosquito Barrier is mixed with water and applied to suitable outdoor areas around the property.

For mosquito and biting midge control, the recommended concentration is 5-10 mL of product per litre of water.
​
The treatment uses water as the carrier solution and when used accordingingly, won't harm plants or grasses.
Because the treatment remains on the surfaces where it is applied, it can continue controlling mosquitoes and biting midges that come into contact with those areas after treatment. Depending on the environment, treatment may remain effective for up to 6 weeks.

Reapplication may be required when insect activity begins to return or where environmental conditions reduce the residual effectiveness of the treatment.

Important Application Information
Follow the product label and application directions when preparing and using the Biting Midge & Mosquito Barrier.
All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) listed on the product label should be worn and complied with, and the attached label and directions should be read in full before mixing or applying the concentrate.
Do not mix the treatment stronger than the recommended label rate, as doing so can negatively affect both the treatment and the surrounding environment.
The product is not suitable for use with thermal foggers or ULV application equipment.
